Depending on your relationship with the Lawyer, the following categories of personal data may be collected:

• Identification data: first name, last name, date and place of birth, nationality, civil status, copies of identity documents.

• Family and case data: family relationships relevant to the matter (filiation, marriage, adoption), civil-status records of relatives, history of nationality and residency.
• Professional and financial data: profession, income (where required for visa or naturalisation files), bank details where applicable.

• KYC data: documents and verifications required by the French Monetary and Financial Code in matters relating to property, residency or anti-money-laundering obligations.

• Collaborators of the Cabinet (paralegals, interns, occasional consultants), bound by professional secrecy.
• Correspondent attorneys when a foreign jurisdiction is involved, with the Client's prior information.
• Sworn translators and apostille service providers, where the Client's documents require legalisation.
• Technology service providers acting as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR: secure hosting, CRM (HubSpot), electronic signature (DocuSign), payment processing, accounting software. All providers are bound by data processing agreements compliant with the GDPR.
• Competent French and foreign authorities (préfectures, consulates, courts, Pôle de la nationalité française, Polícia Federal) as required by the case.
• The administrative or judicial authorities in case of a court order or legal obligation.

Personal data is not sold to third parties.

5. International Transfers

Some technology providers may be located outside the European Economic Area (e.g. United States). In such cases, transfers are framed by appropriate safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or supplementary technical measures.
